Photography Tours in Ouro Preto

So earlier this month I had the pleasure of doing a tour with a fantastic person by the name of Ronald Péret. Peret, a keen photographer, got in touch with me for a private tour off a cruise liner.

So off we went, in search of dramatic landscapes with just the right kind of lighting.

Peret had sent me a link to his website during our first email conversation and I was happy to think that perhaps after this trip he would have a section on Oro Preto full of top quality photographs.

I can truly say I learned a lot from Peret. Luckily for me he was a very patient man, having to deal with a guide who knew nothing about photography, he helped me by explaining exactly what it was that we were looking for.

Peret has inspired me to delve deeper into this subject and has since advised me on many topics including lighting, lenses, cameras and ideas.... I guess the purpose of this blog post is to let you all know that this kind of trip is possible with me and possibly will be something we specialize in once I've learned the ropes so to speak. This town and around is beautiful and a perfect setting for such a tour...
